Petition Letter: Hi,
I am appealing to have the 21-day or one term deadline waived, so that I may appeal to request a Credit standing for ECON 112.
On June 5th, 2017, Appeal Number: 3256, for Course: ECON 111, Winter Term, Year: 2017, Category: Drop a course after the academic deadline was granted. I tried to add my ECON 112 to this appeal as my illness was from October 2016, however, was told that I would have to first appeal to have the 21-day or one term deadline waived in order to then appeal to change my ECON 112 to Credit standing.
When I initially appealed ECON 111, it was a learning curve for me. I didn't realize I could include both courses and have my ECON 112 changed to Credit standing because the acute part of my illness started in October of 2016. I found this out after speaking with my Academic Advisor, David Youssef.
I hope all my information is on file with respects to appeal 3256, however, I can provide all the details of that appeal if necessary for you to make a decision on this new appeal.
Thank-you in advance for your consideration.
