Petition Letter: Hi there,
I am writing an appeal to join PSYC 251 after the academic course deadline. I was waitlisted at 2 on the list when the deadline passed so I contacted Professor Dr. Elizabeth Kelly and went and met with her (also met and spoke to Cindy Butts). She outlined what I will be needing to do in order to catch up and I am fully aware of what is required from me. Dr. Kelly also said that if I am willing, there is space available in her class. I plan on potentially majoring in psych therefore this course is very important for me to take as it is a mandatory for a major in this subject.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: My future plan involves potentially majoring in psychology. In order to succeed in this plan, I am required to take a level 200 Psychology course which would be PSYC 251 providing that I am accepted. I plan on re-taking psych 100 to achieve a greater grade/understanding and am in waiting for a response for a credit standing in said course due to extenuating circumstances in my first year at Queens. I plan on communicating regularly with my Professor and TA's in order to ensure that I am fully caught up and in position to succeed. I will communicate with them through email and/or by talking to them in person during their office hours.
