Petition Letter: Hello, I am writing this so I can be allowed to write the final exam for the 2013-2014 MATH 121 course. I wasn¿¿t able to write it in April 2014 due to being sick and not able to attend the exam. I was able to contact Professor Ableson through email and dropped off the doctors note in his office before I left to go back home to Vancouver for the summer. Now I am back at Queen¿¿s and met with Professor Ableson, who told me about the appeal and I am hoping I can write this exam because I will need it for the courses I am taking this semester. Thank you.

Petition Letter: Dear Dr. J. Hugh Horton,
Hi, after my last appeal (391) got denied to write my deferred math exam. Since I need a math course as a co-requisite for classes I am currently taking, I have contacted the professor, Dr. Andrew Fiori and the chair of undergraduate studies, Dr. Gregory G. Smith to add the math course after deadline has passed. After explaining the situation about my last appeal process and why it was denied, Dr. Smith has allowed me to add Math 126 after the deadline. I have included the emails with Dr. Smith explaining why I didn't add math 126 before the deadline and why my last appeal was denied.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I am hoping I will be able to add this course because I hope to graduate this year with BA in Economics. If I can't, I would need to drop all my courses that need it as a co-requisite and I wouldn't know what to do after with this year. I have decided to take math 126 instead of math 121 since I have heard it is a lighter load than math 121. I have 4 other courses this semester and next semester which I want to do well in to graduate this year with my friends. I hope you understand, thank you.
