Petition Letter

Petition Letter: Due to poor mental health , I can't take more than 4 courses. I thought I would be able to take the course load, but the stress is too much for me. This is my third year at Queen's University and my first year I left school second term on medical leave, and last year (my 2nd year), I travelled back and forth every week for appointments. I want to set myself up for success this year, and due to the instability of my mental health, I don't feel I am able to continue with the PHILL 233 course that I am enrolled in.

Amendment to Appeal 3884

Petition Type: 2
ID: 4311
Submitted: March 20, 2018 at 3:51:57 AM
Relevant Petition: 3884
New Information: Though the appeal was withdrawn and taken care of, I have information that completes the previous appeal and helps support my request to change credit standing, and well as grades in the courses which I passed but earned a significantly lower mark due to your circumstances during that time frame.

In an email sent to Jill Atkinson, Ph.D. (Associate Dean (Studies)), I attached all the new documentation I wish to present in my this amendment. I was assured in an email back from the Academic Appeal Office that all the required documentation that I sent to Dr. Atkinson would be in this new appeal. The appeal number that describes my case is 3970.

In case there is a mix up with documentation, I have attached the most recent doctors note explaining my current acute medical condition.
