Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am appealing to waive the 21-day deadline for appealing to drop courses after the deadline. In my other appeal I go into more detail, however during winter of 2017, I withdrew from school with the intention to resolve issues in health. I developed issues with insomnia in the Fall 2016 term, which led to issues in anxiety and focus. The decision to withdraw from school was very difficult, yet it was critical for the future of my academic success and, more importantly, my health. With that said, I missed the deadline and lacked the proper research and guidance for an appeal. I am now ready to continue my academic endeavors, and the appeal is crucial to have my transcript reflect who I am as a student. Please find attached the same letter from my doctor I provided in my other appeal, which talks about the issues previously mentioned.
