Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
I was unable to submit an appeal for writing a deferred final exam for PHAR270 within the one term deadline due to major financial and emotional upheaval. I was forced to leave my housing in September and was living at the Muslim Welfare Center in Whitby, Ontario until the end of October. I was experience issues with my family, financial debt and poverty and was without a home. I moved to Kingston at the beginning of November and have been working on becoming financially and emotionally stable from then until now. I am now in a position of recovery and am able to make a decision to submit an appeal.
PHAR270 exam was deferred in April due to a mental health crisis leaving me in hospital in April and again at the end August. I was hospitalized for bipolar disorder I. Professor Jeanne Mulder is willing to let me write if the Dean decides to approve my appeal.
Due to mental health and financial crisis I was left unable to submit an appeal to write a deferred exam but now I am in recovery and hope to write the exam so I can get my degree. PHAR270 is the last credit I need for my BSc in Life Sciences.
