Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I'm writing you this evening to ask for your support to be admitted into the course Gphy 228 for the winter term of 2018. I apologize for the tardiness on enrolment to this class. Throughout this period I was on the waitlist for Pols 230 and was hoping I would be enrolled as soon as possible. As time went by, I was concerned I would not get accepted into the class so I decided to seek help from the academic counsellors. Upon speaking with her we had found the Gphy 228 course that was a Devs eligible (my minor), had space in it, so since I was interested in it and I decided to enrol for the class. However, due to a miscommunication between the counsellor and myself I did not successfully enrol in the class on Friday January 19th, even though I thought I had. On Monday I called the arts and science faculty office and was sent to an automated voice messaging system, Monday was the day of the freezing rain storm and due to closures I could not go in person. And so I went to the office Tuesday morning to inquire the status of my enrolment and I was told the only way to attempt to register in this course was to file an appeal.
