Petition Letter: To The Associate Dean of Studies,
My name is Olivia Douglas and I am a second year student at Queens. I am writing this appeal because I would like to be granted late registration into three courses; ARTH212, ENIN 140, and GNDS 120. I have missed the deadline to ass courses because at that time I had a financial hold on my account. Unfortunately, my family was not able to pay this hold off until recently. Being enrolled in classes this term is very important to me, so that I will be able to complete my degree on time.
I am very confident that I will be bale to catch up on all materials that I have missed these past weeks. I have emailed all of the professors of the classes that I wish to enroll in, and all have been happy to accept me as a student, and were all very accommodating. They have assured me that I will be able to catch up with missed work, and that they will do everything that they can to make this a reality for me.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I am hoping to register in three courses this semester. Although this does put me behind the track of my degree, I am switching my degree from a BAH to a BA with a minor in Art History, allowing myself the opportunity to graduate on time for my next steps after Queens.
I have spoken to all of the professors of the courses I wish to enroll in and they have all offered to accommodate deadlines in order for myself to catch up, and get all of my work done in time.
I feel strongly about my abilities to catch up because of the accommodating professors running the classes, as well as my passion and interest in the courses. Enrolling in ART212, adds to the art history courses I need for my degree. Enrolling in GNDS120, and ENIN140 adds to the electives I need for my degree.
