Petition Letter
Petition Letter: I was first enrolled in PHIL 420 (Global Bioethics) during the month of December and early January. However, due to what I thought was a conflict with my schedule, I had to drop the course and add another course to my schedule. I was very excited about this course and had already submitted my first assignment. After I realized that I did not need to drop this course, however, I instantly got in touch with the professor and he informed me that he would have no problems having me back in the class. Biomedical ethics and ethical issues is one of my great passions that I would like to pursue further studies in. I would kindly request the appeals team to allow this late add course drop to continue to research and learn about this passion of mine.
Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I would like to resume taking PHIL 420 as soon as possible, as I would like to succeed in my courses. I require PHIL 420 for my degree as I need 3.0 further units of a Philosophy course at the 4th year level. In order to prepare for my higher studies, therefore, I request the academic appeals board to kindly allow the late course add.
