To whom this may concern,
I am writing this letter for academic appeal, as I have not been able to perform in this course to the best of my ability due to severe anxiety this year. In the past my academics have been of a very high standing (4.0); however, due to severe anxiety and depression this year, I have been unable to concentrate and study for periods of time. Because of this, I have been commuting back and forth from Toronto to see my doctor and psychologist. Having been giving permission by my parents to drop ECON111 because of the anxiety and panic it has been causing me, I seek your understanding on this late request to drop this course. I will ask my
my psychologist, Dr. Pamela Paris, to write a letter confirming my situation for independent confirmation. I hereby authorize you to contact Dr. Paris (416-229-1477 ext. 221) as well.
