New Information: REGARDING WAIVING THE 21 DAY APPEAL REGULATION:
During the time period after the deadline for PHIL452 I was unaware of the time limit and extremely dysfunctional in a shame and depression spiral. I was foolishly trying to make the problem disappear by ignoring it and hoping it would go away and stopped any checking or corresponding with the school. Therefore it came as a shock when I got my diploma in the mail despite not remembering applying to graduate. Additionally I missed graduation itself, only knowing it was happening because of friends Facebook photos, a disappointment to myself and my family. In the time since to the present I have had psychotherapy (with Dr. Godwin Lau) and am now on antidepressants which has helped me regain normal functioning. It was until very recently that I felt defeated and saw things as hopeless without any hope for a brighter future. I realize now that I can move past my failures and have the strength to face and fight them. I realize the responsibility for looking into the rules is entirely mine and am simply asking for forgiveness and leniency for the chance to move on from this and put some dark times behind me. I have recently written the LSAT and fervently hope to apply to law school with this resolved.
