Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Dear Ms. Johanne Benard,

I am appealing to drop Arth 100 (Summer 2018). My father suffers from varying medical conditions, and became violently ill which eventually resulted in him being rushed to the hospital. The physical illness began and continued to progress during the deadline dates of my last two assignments July 27- August 4th (final project and exam). Due to these extenuating circumstances beyond my control, I was occupied helping my father and taking care of my younger siblings which directly affected my ability to complete the course, in addition I had no access to wifi at the hospital.

I propose to retake this course or an equivalent course, when my father returns to good health during the fall 2018 semester.
