Petition Letter: Dear Associate Dean (Studies),
I hope this finds you well.
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you as I have been struggling with a lot of heath issues for the past 7 months. I was diagnosed with a tumour and this has affected my ability to contribute to the remaining course work for WRIT 120 (Winter, 2018) and pursue my studies, as I have been seeing my doctor regularly and getting treatment, so I' am here by appealing to drop the course. I am aware that I have a fail on my record for WRIT 120. However, I would like to see with you what can be done so that I am able to re-take the class to get the required GPA and pursue my studies once I get back to health (upon finishing my treatment with the neurosurgeon).
