Petition Letter: I am currently majoring in Geology and minoring in Physics, and I enrolled in MATH 111 thinking that it was a required prerequisite for both supporting courses MATH 225 and MATH 231. I am now realizing it is not necessary for MATH225, and I am looking to take that course over the summer instead of MATH231; thus MATH 111 is not necessary.
