Petition Letter
Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
My name is Sakithyan Logabalendran and I am pursuing a BA in Political Science at the University of Toronto and am currently in my final year of study. I was enrolled in HIST214, LAW201, and CLST205 over the summer term of 2018 as a transfer student. Unfortunately, during my enrolment I had gotten extremely sick with a chronic condition; one that still remains unresolved, putting me in a difficult position during the near completion of my degree. I have all official medical documentations to verify this fact. Considering my circumstances, I was unable to complete many of the work for these courses, or in some cases, do anything at all; this is inclusive of evaluations such as tests, assignments and final exams. I apologize for not reaching out sooner, but the chronic nature of my condition, in addition to my lack of knowledge of Queen's University processes as to how to deal with dilemma held me back. I am hoping my request will be accepted so that I will be able to set the missed opportunities aside and be able to complete my degree successfully when I do get better. I do appreciate the opportunity of having been given the chance to be a student at Queen's for a short time and look forward to future opportunities as well
Regards
