Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hello. As a history major, I could only enroll in one Core Seminar and I accidentally am enrolled in two this year. My preferred course, HIST 324 opened up last week and I instantly enrolled in it but wanted to attend one class before dropping my other course, HIST 286/315. However, after attempting to drop 315 after attending 324, I was reminded that it was past the deadline to drop a course without financial penalty. I really need to drop this course as it is not allowed to take more than one History Core Course in one year and I would prefer to not pay for 50 of the dropped course because it is not something I can financially uphold.
