Petition Letter
Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
This is a claim to support the filing for the academic appeal to add a course after the deadline. I believe I have a strong case to support this appeal due to the fact that I have taken this particular course in the past.
Due to a miscommunication with Dr Lamb (the undergraduate chair for computing) on his behalf regarding course selection, as well as an issue in the Solus website, I was unable to add the course before the official academic deadline.
As stated previously, I have taken this course in the past and am quite confident and knowledgable of some, if not most, of its material. Therefore, I would claim that have the competency and ability to enroll this course this late in the term and still succeed.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: CISC 102 is an essential course to succeed in the computing program as it is a prerequisite course to many more advanced computing course. Additionally, unlike my previous attempts at CISC 102, this time around I will have the additional support of my academic accommodations that have been approved to help me be evaluated at the same level as my peers.
