Petition Letter

Petition Letter: I am creating this appeal as per the requirements to complete the international letter of permission application. I am interested in studying abroad at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. I am an applied economics major and Bocconi has a highly regarded economics program. The reason I am applying through ilop is because I was waitlisted for my top picks through the Queen's exchange program, but I am very enthused about studying abroad so I decided that I would pursue this option. My plan is to attend Bocconi in the winter term of 2019.

Academic Plan

Academic Plan: Bocconi's economics program has many transferrable courses that would be equivalent to the courses offered at Queen's. I believe that traveling is incredibly valuable to one's development and studying abroad is a great way to broaden horizons and gain different perspectives, which is the main factor drawing me to this opportunity. If this appeal is granted I will be able to maintain a similar course load to the one I have now and will come back in Fall 2019 having not fallen behind.
