Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hello,

I need to drop this course because from the beginning of this term my son was not feeling well and then I also felt ill. Because of this I had to submit my assignment in late and I did not do so well as I hardly had any time to focus on the details of the assignment.
Next, I purchased a book through Amazon and I did not recieve it and the order was cancelled due to some unknown reason. I had to reorder the book and it arrived in November. So, I was forced to study without it and complete assignment 1. I got in much trouble due to breakin academic integrity for one section of the assignment. Due to this, i received a 0 in the assignment. I as also adviced to not drop any classes during the investigation time.
Professor Salay has adviced me strongly to drop this course. Since it is nearly impossible for me to pass at this point.
