Petition Letter: To Whom It May Concern:,

My name is Haneen Sabra and I am writing to you in regards to my mental health struggles I have faced within the last year and a half. I have experienced a series of significant life altering events, having undergone surgeries (2 DnCs for miscarriages), chemotherapy (uterine diagnosis) and lastly, family law regarding a divorce in my personal life. This has taken a negative toll on my overall mental health and has resulted in my anxiety and depression. It has made it extremely challenging and even overwhelming to complete my exams at the decided dates. My fear of failing resulted in my inability to write my finals for the following courses: PSYC 241, PSYC 251. Education is very important to me, despite the challenges I faced the past year or so, I am determined to complete these courses and write the exams. I have completed the rest of the course materials, leaving the finals to complete. If possible, I would like to write the finals for these courses and complete the credit.
Are there any accommodations for students who struggle with anxiety and depression to make exam writing easier and less overwhelming
