Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am a first-year student and I would like to appeal to drop GNDS 120 Women, Gender, Difference as they have been extremely unfair in there grading scheme and did not highlight this before the drop deadline. Before the drop deadline on November 2 only 20 of our grade was released the critical response and 1 of the 3 quizzes. I was doing well in this course averaging an A- however in the last 2 assignments which where worth 50 of our grade my TA was extremely unfair in her grading giving me no feedback when I showed her my drafts twice before handing the assignments in and grading me a C on both with no cause just that I had many components missing that were not highlighted or mentioned in our previous appointments. I was unaware that this would occur during the time of the drop deadline which is why I did not drop the course earlier.
