Petition Letter: To Whom It May Concern:

Request to drop ENIN 301, without academic penalty.

The reason which I am requesting to drop this course after the academic deadline was due to being unable to drop it at the time because of a course error drop before the deadline. I¿¿m not sure which other way to go about this. I was not able to seek help from ITS services and did not know who to contact.

Initially, I was suggested to drop this course by my counsellor back home in order to focus on my required courses. Doing this will grant me with more time creating a more balanced lifestyle incorporating soccer and extracurricular activities which will help me in coping and reducing my stress throughout the semester and for the next semester.

Having being granted this course as dropped will help me succeed in my future courses, as well as my time since I no longer have to worry about what will happen if the appeal is not accepted. When I was receiving error codes from trying to drop the course, I was back home and under seeking guidance and creating a plan to progress on how to overcome my anxiety. This impacted my headspace severely. I hope this is the right place to contact regarding this matter and I hope that you will be able to see that I was not able to drop the course before the deadline, and the initial reason why I wanted to drop the course. Currently, since I am at school I do not have the ability to see my counselor but will be able to when I go back home. However, for some reason if you do need a note from my counselor, the next time I go back home I will be able to get all that information
