Petition Letter: Dear MR/MS:
I am full-time international student in Arts and Science. I am appealing to drop CISC 101. This course¿¿s Mid-Term finished in 14th November. I didn¿¿t pass that exam. Before the Mid-Term exam we only had a few labs to do. During the lab time, TA is very busy, because everyone has questions to ask him. I asked questions frequently which means lots of work is done by TA and me. As a result, with TA¿¿s help, I got 3 or 4 out of 5. So at that time I have no idea whether I should carry on or drop this course. I was waiting for Mid-Term, because it can evaluate how well you did in this course and it weighted for a lot proportion in the entire course. Therefore that¿¿s why I did not drop this course before 31st October. However, I did not pass. Therefore, I have to drop it as soon as possible.
In addition, I plan to change my program in the second year which means I have to make sure my GPA is high enough. If this course cannot be dropped, it will have big negative in my overall GPA.
Anyway, thanks for helping me.
