Petition Letter
Petition Letter: I have recently been diagnosed with anxiety and depression and have been making the necessary steps to recover. It wasn't until recently that I have attributed my poor academic performance to my mental illness. By the time I was diagnosed, the 21 day period had ended and I could not appeal. After speaking to my academic advisor, I am now writing this letter to be appeal for my poor academic performance because of my extenuating circumstance, which I am learning, was out of my control. Thank you for your consideration.
