Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I would like to Drop this class after the Deadline because of physical illness. In August i had an Eye Surgery to stop a degenerative disease called Kerataconus. This left me with poor vision for the last 6 months and is quite frustrating. Taking notes, reading and studying have become much more difficult as result. I planed to Drop this course on time but the deadline snuck up on me and as such I missed the date. Tis is the following Monday and when I realized, I quickly called the ArtsSci department to begin this process. I think with a reduced course load of 4 courses I will have much more success.
