Petition Letter: The Request:
I am appealing to drop GPHY 314, GPHY 250 and GPHY 207 (2019 Winter).

The explanation:
Last year, I have been asked to withdraw for one year because of the academic, and I am now in the academic probation this year. Since this winter term began, I felt more and more stressful, and always got large pressure on upgrade my GPAs. I became hard to get sleep, and a few days before the reading week, I became not want to go to the lecture, and even do not have any motivation to do the assignment.
As this reason, during the reading week, since my mother's friend lives in Toronto, I went to Toronto to see psychologist. The doctor told me not to give myself so much stress, do some sports and get enough relax. He also told me, the reason that I felt hard on study can be the major is not right for me. I have stay in Toronto for about two months for the counselling. In this April, I came back to Kinston, and talked with academic advisor about my situation.
I am thinking to drop all the courses in this winter term and start back to school from this summer and try to change my major.
Since I have about two months do not go to the lecture and do not do any assignment, I have to drop all my course in this term without the academic penalty. I am appealing to drop all of my course this semester.

Future plan:
I am planning to take course from this summer term and change my major. I am thinking about change to language major. For my mental health, I will keep in touch with my counselor and insist to go to the counselling service in Queen's. For my academic studies, I am planning to take time with Queen's Student Academic Success Service, to find the best study method for myself.
