Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Towards the end of my grade twelve year I began having stomach issues. I started suffering from extreme appetite loss, throwing up daily and severe pains. I visited many doctors and found no long-term solution to my issues. When I went to Queens my stomach issues got much worse, I began everyday throwing up for at least 2 hours and slowly watching my body and mind dissipate. I had zero energy and was in almost constant pain, I ended up losing 30lbs at my time at Queens. I felt very hopeless and as if there would never be a solution. Over the year I visited many doctors and got 2 operations in an attempt to find out what was going on, again nothing was found. After my exams, I went back to Toronto and visited a doctor and finally discovered I had a bacterial infection in my stomach and that it was quite severe. I am now currently in recovery and doing much better than I was during the school year. I have attached all the pertinent documentation with respect to all the test the doctors have performed as well as the long list of medication I had and have been prescribed. My hope is that you will reconsider my current status of academic probation due my explanation above.
