Petition Letter: The reason why I didn¿¿t get a good grades in this term is the mental state is quite bad, and didn¿¿t get medical help in Canada. I upload a scan file that is my medical document in China , and it has been notarized in English by Chinese government. At the beginning, around 2018 2nd April, I had the convulsion and almost fainted in Leonard Hall cafeteria. The Queen¿¿s First Aid team and KGH ambulance came for me.(Due to the Queen¿¿s security office claimed that the record is confidential, I posted the email record that I communicated with them.) I visited doctor for two times at July and august 2018, and diagnosed with acute anxiety(panic disorder). I didn¿¿t tell my parents I have mental disease because I feel fearless when they know that. After getting medication for 4 month, the symptom were improved and no effect on my study period. But after the medication run out, the symptom was appeared again, and had significant influence on my daily life. Therefore, I didn¿¿t get ideal grades for this term. I tried my best to flight with the panic disorder, but it still annoy me when I didn¿¿t get medical treatment .I had total 6 times of faint in this semester. I would like to say personally the student wellness center didn¿¿t pay enough attention on students¿¿ mental condition, and didn¿¿t said how to found a psychiatrists in Canada. Last month, I visited my doctor with my parents , and he claimed that I need medical treatment continuously for 6 month. Also, I am taking psychological consultant¿¿s talking treatment to getting over it.
I swear that I can do better in the next following term if I can take 2019-2020 fall term. I will take Queen¿¿s mental health training course to learn how to do better mentally. Also, I will schedule all my learning plan, like do detailed time table about my course. And when I face some academic trouble, I will ask TA or professor more actively. Before any classes, I will do pre-view about each class content. Each month, I will make a summary for what I studied. I will do more prepare before any exams, and pay the most attention on my academic career. For the GPA of my following term, I will do 1.6 or above that.
