I am appealing to drop MATH 121 for the fall/winter semester of 2018-19. During the academic year, I had to defer both exams (December 1st and April 22nd) due to extenuating circumstances beyond my control. Although I submitted the extenuating circumstances form (December 1st 2019), I did not get a reply for the deferral of my December exam. It is now September and it has come to my attention that I will need to take both fall and winter final examinations (more than 50 of the course). Due to both mental and physical strains of the extenuating circumstances throughout both semesters, I am unable to perform to my best academic standards in these examinations. It would be best for me to retake the course this coming semester. Over the summer, I sought out help (counselor) for my underlying issues and have come to even terms with them.
Thank you for your time,
Dong Woo (Tony) Sul
