Petition Letter: To Whom It May Concern,


I have applied for the physics course for the Summer term. Unfortunately my performance towards the course was very poor due to family members deaths. I had my grandfather who passed away during the beginning of the course, I didn't think it would have had a hug effect on me with my performance. I didn't do very well for the tests that were involved in the course and was struggling with the assignments due to the stress of his death. My cousin then passed away during the last weeks of the exam and it was sudden and shocking to my whole family. I then started becoming sick and had vomiting and diarrhea episodes during the exam week and had to reschedule it. It was a numerous of stress that has happened during the summer semester, it effected me and had lowered my performance for this course. I have recovered from our family grievance and would like to continue at Queen's University, if given the chance to do so.
