Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I'd gone through an academic appeals process over both the Fall/Winter terms due to depression--and had made arrangements with Prof. Bakhurst to resubmit some outstanding essays. Essentially, over the course of the summer, I was unable to meet those arrangements due to several reasons--spanning from manifestations of my depression that I'd thought I'd gotten past, a full-time job and eye surgery. Throughout this, I'd gotten full and thorough support from Prof. Bakhurst, who has remained supportive and had recommended I extend my incomplete grade. The reason this has come at such a delay (given that the IN technically ends on the 1st) is because Prof. Bakhurst and the Undergraduate Chair for the PHIL Dept had taken steps to ensure all possible options were being considered before moving forward, in our email correspondence.
