Petition Letter: I am submitting this appeal to add the course LAW 201 online in the Fall 2019 semester. I am a fourth year Global Development Studies student and this course will help further my degree, and I need the extra credit this semester in order to graduate this spring. The reason for which I missed the deadline to add a course was an emergency circumstance beyond my control. Last week, my boyfriend¿¿s house on 307 Alfred burnt down and left many students displaced. I spent the week helping him and his housemates salvage their belongings and find new housing.
Academic Plan
Academic Plan: To make up for my late start to this course, I will dedicate my time in the next few weeks to catch up fully and do all that I can to succeed in this course. I am up to date and ahead in my other courses, giving me more time to catch up.
