Petition Letter
Petition Letter: Dear Associate Dean of Studies,
I am writing this appeal letter to request that my courses for the Fall 2019 term be dropped from my enrollment history.
During the aforementioned time period, I dealt with persistent medical issues that affected my physical and mental health, as well as the loss of a loved one by suicide. Because of these occurrences, I was unable to sustain my academic performance and ultimately made the decision to withdraw until Fall 2020. A doctor's note is attached which confirms that the issues I was facing necessitated my temporary withdrawal.
I plan to spend these next couple of months working on my health and wellbeing, and am excited to return to studies with a fresh mind in 2020.
Wishing you all the best and a happy holiday season,
Molly McClement
