Petition Letter: Dear Appeals Coordinator,
I would like to request to waive the 21-day appeals deadline to submit a follow-on appeal for the late submission of work about DEVS220 W19.
Due to extenuating circumstances dealing with an elderly father and mother¿¿s health severe health conditions, both were diagnosed with cancer and a heavy workload including frequent travel as a Canadian Arm Major; I submitted my work later than 15 Sep 19 to Professor Ian Fanning.
As a result, he was advised by the DEVs department that I must submit an appeal for the mark to stand.
My parents¿¿ illness continues to be a heavy burden on my life with very frequent hospital visits, sometimes twice a day for both. This has wreaked havoc on my life as a whole. Not to mention that I still work full time, am the father of three kids under 7 and have to commit to matters of national interest that require travel.
Life has been so unpredictable that I write this letter prior to midnight on new year¿¿s eve. The only free opportunity I have.
I hope that you will look favourably upon my request for this appeal. If a doctor¿¿s documentation is required in order to verify my parent¿¿s health condition, that can be attained in a timely manner.
Thank you for your help and happy new year.
