Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: While I was enrolled in LIBS 100 in Fall 2017, I had a series of extremely unfortunate events that were outside of my control. My Aunt died suddenly, ten days later my Dad died from cancer. I then spent 6 months bed bound with an undiagnosed illness. . During this time I was physically unable to complete LIBS 100 - I had been in contact with my professor, but after completing the paperwork for an extension my health declined drastically and that became my main focus. As it turns out I had both parasites and an autoimmune disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis. This is something I have gotten under control over the last year, but it took a lot of time. I was hoping to have this course removed from my transcript if possible.
