Petition Letter: To whom It may concern,
I am appealing to add the course PHAR 100 after the add/drop deadline. I went on exchange over the summer to Germany, and because the semester ended so late, I only received a final version of my exchange transcript last Friday. Because I did not have it until then, my Queen's transcript was hard to understand as I did not know how many credits I was going to receive from exchange. I saw several advisers about this, but was told that I had to wait until the exchange credits were processed before knowing if I needed any more credits. When I was emailed my exchange transcript on Friday, I saw that I did not receive as many units in a course as I should have. I emailed my host university several times about this, but I was told that I was not going to get any more units. This contradicted what I was initially told I would receive. I emailed my professor form my host university in September asking if I was going to receive the full number of ECTs from my course but I received no response. On Friday I was finally able to see how many total credits I have on my Queen's transcript, and because I did not receive as many ECTs as I thought I would, I am missing one elective in order to graduate this spring. I started the appeal process immediately when I found this out. I have the support of Cynthia MacIntosh, the undergraduate assistant for the politics department. I am attaching a letter of documentation from her to support my appeal. As it is only one elective that I am missing on my transcript, it would really benefit to be able to enrol in this course.
Thank you,

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: To whom it may concern,
I am hoping to enrol in PHAR 100 (online course) as I am short one elective in order to graduate this spring. If I am able to enrol, I will work hard to catch up to where the course is at. My semester is very manageable right now, so I am sure that I will be able to complete this course even though I am enrolling late.
Thank you for your time and for reviewing my appeal process,
Meadhbh Taylor
