Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am writing this letter to confirm my desire to drop the courses after the drop deadline that passed at he end of last week. For personal reasons, to do with my mental health, I have returned home to Toronto. I didn't want to make any decisions about these courses until I was able to speak with my parents and an academic advisor. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get an appointment until Monday March 2nd. On Monday, I spoke with Spring Forsberg and my parents, and we determined that I need to file an appeal to drop my courses as I likely won't be returning to Queens this term for personal reasons. I have been dealing with bouts of anxiety and depression, and will be seeing a therapist later this week. I would like to confirm that I am able to drop these courses asap, to ensure there is no issue with my transcript moving forward.
