Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Since the start of the semester my mental health (anxiety, depression) has declined to the point it impacted my ability to do two of my courses, CLST-103-001 and GPHY-227-700. Last month I went to the Student Wellness Clinic to make an appointment with a doctor, but was told I would have to wait until mid-late April for an appointment. Student Wellness Center directed me to hotel dieu emergency walk-in, which referred me to KGH where I am now attending therapy (3hrs twice a week, with homework) through their mental health department, with further doctor appointments coming up. Dropping these two elective classes will delay my graduation from this term, so I understand the severity of me appealing to drop CLST-103-001 and GPHY-227-700.
