Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,

I am writing this appeal to drop my religion course after the academic deadline to do so. On November 26th 2019 I had multiple seizures that required a hospital visit. I do not have a history of having seizures, so this was a strange occurrence. Since then, I have been struggling to recover. I am still sleeping for most of my spare time which has not given any time to do any schoolwork. After failing my psychology exam due to not being able to even study properly, I decided in January to drop my other two courses before the deadline. I thought that I could continue with my religion course as my course load was cut but, unfortunately I do not currently possess the energy to do any coursework (including lecture notes and my assignments). My overall health has been dramatically affected and it has become a hindrance for my schoolwork. I am still undergoing testing to see what has caused my seizures.
