Petition Letter
Petition Letter: I have been suffering from some medical issues related to my mental health and will not be able to complete the final outstanding component for SOCY336 with Michael Siciliano, nor SOCY276 with Ashley DePaola.
I have tried to complete as much of the work that was required of me as possible. I have indeed been struggling since coming home when the university shut down. It has come to a point where I can no longer manage and my health is deteriorating rapidly. My mother has had to intervene and redirect me to get the appropriate care, although it has been extraordinarily difficult in the current climate.
My mother is professor with 25 years of teaching experience. As such, she understands that if you require documentation to verify this claim, she can provide you with a letter from my current practitioner, although it may take some time.
I have already reached out to the undergraduate chair, Dr. Fiona Kay, who as been very helpful with this process. She has reached out to both professors who have been extremely supportive and more than willing to offer me the option of Aegretat.
