Petition Letter
Petition Letter: Due to quarantine and isolation, I have ended up relapsing with my eating disorder severely, which has made me extremely lethargic, and most of my time has been used to binge and purge. This epidemic has affected me greatly as I no longer have my friends to support me, which has not only worsened my eating disorder but my mental health as well, which I am currently treating. I am also now preparing to go through the court process and charge for sexual assault. I am diagnosed with PTSD due to that incident, and usually, if something triggers me, which as of late, has been a lot due to me deciding to press charges, I can no longer do much of anything. Usually, I would be able to attend my treatment at Hotel Dieu, which I have been going to for my conditions. However, those have been stopped due to the virus. I feel like it is hindering my progress as a few months ago, I was feeling much more stable ad content. I am only missing an assignment for completing the course, and I know I could get it in within the next ten days.
Academic Plan
Academic Plan: In the future, I will meet with academic advisors more often to create a suitable plan for myself. I know that in terms of my health, I am on my way to progress, and this is just a bump in the road. When the quarantine is lifted, I know that my peace of mind will greatly improve. Proceeding with my charges in the summer, which have been causing me the majority of my health issues for years, will allow me to turn the next chapter in my life. I will also continue to maintain my weekly meetings at the hospital.
