Petition Letter

Petition Letter: Hello,
I hope you are safe and healthy. My first year as an international student was really rough at Queens University, it was the first time I was away from my family and friends. All of my hard and bad times reflected on my grades, and I failed to pass and unfortunately, I am on probation. For me to be able to continue as a student at Queen's university I needed a B- in all of my courses this year. Which I did except for one class. My grades have increased a lot compared to last year. I have one C+ in Sociology it is a C+ with 68. I mailed my professor he told me to contact you but is there any way I could appeal my grade. It is a really rough time now and I was having a hard time when everything went online immediately, psychologically as well. I really love Queens University and with 2 I really do not want to leave the place I now call home. I know that I could do pass/fail but because of my first-year grades my GPA is really low and if I do pass/fail it will be worse.
Thank you for your time

Academic Plan

Academic Plan: Hello,
I will never do the mistake I did in first year. My first year was really rough and I made a huge lesson out of it. Studying, learning new things is something I love to do, I love. my university and I really want to keep on being a student at Queen's. I know that because of this pandemic I will be able to study next year I still want to be out of probation and think about my classes and not constantly thinking of my grades. Thinking of my grades constantly every night effected me psychologically as well and I do not want to do that with all my class stress.
