Petition Letter: Hello,
I am currently a third year commerce student wishes to submit a P grade under the current circumstances of the school year. As the commerce program allows us to submit a P grade from May 12th to the 20th, I submitted a P grade for one of my classes (comm 351). I ended up needing to submit another, so today (May 20th, 8:42 PM) I went to the portal to submit another P grade for one of my classes (comm 341). It did not let me as I needed to do this all in one form. The issue I am facing now is that I was supposed to submit the P grades that I requested all on one form, but did not know this before hand. And now as I am trying to submit another within the deadline, I am unable to do this. I am sending this email within the deadline as I want to demonstrate that I am serious about meeting deadlines, and this was just a small mistake. I hope there is some understanding as some other students are facing the same issue with the lack of clarity in regard to how to submit a P grade. Thus I am just hoping to get my other class (comm 341 operations management as a pass grade). I sent an email to the commerce office forwarding them my previous request to let them know that I would also like to submit a P grade for comm 341. Just to be safe, I am submitting this academic appeal a day before the deadline for submitting P grades end, as there is uncertainty to when I would get a response.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I was previously facing some academic circumstances before Covid-19. I ended up in the hospital at KGH due to some medical difficulties, which required me to stay home for the remainder of the semester. The P grade is vital to helping me stay in the program and protect my GPA. I am utilizing the support with the Smith school of business counsellors to help with this matter.
