Petition Letter: Good Afternoon Associate of Dean,

My name is William Koos and my student number is 20030762. I am in the graduating class of 2020 in the Smith School of Business. I am appealing the decision of my professor Ian Frankel regarding his result of academic integrity sanction and his findings against me. I was surprised to have received an email from my professor, Ian Frankel, who taught me MATH 225. This was a challenging course and I made frequent visits to Ian¿¿s office for extra help. In addition, the professor did not post the solutions to the practice problems within reasonable time - normally, one day before the deliverable. Therefore, I consulted with my peers in the library in attempt to find the best solution to his practice problems at a time that complimented my schedule. Time management is a key component to success and posting the solutions the day before did not allow me to have sufficient time to review the solution effectively alongside my other commitments. The Professor has deemed me to be guilty with co-operating with an anonymous individual (Ian has never explicitly given a name) while writing the final exam and quizzes. Since quarantine has taken place, I have been forced to collaborate with other individuals in the class to get help with practice problems and further my understanding of the course. However, I have written all the quizzes and the final exam alone in my room. I was astonished to receive an email from the professor, and I do not merit the final decision of the professor along with his sanction.
