Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hello,
I am emailing regarding the pass/fail appeals for Winter term. I had been planning on making my courses pass/fail for the Winter term due to corona virus complications. However, my doctors office informed me that my email has not been working since May 11th, and I was unable to get the email that listed a deadline for Pass/Fail credits. When I was sent home I really struggled to check to see if my email was working, and tried to remain off technology all together as it was causing me too much stress.
I was unaware of the May 20th deadline, and planning on applying for a pass/fail credit score in the next time oppourtunity I had to use a computer of my own. I realize that I should have made more steps to ensure that there was not a deadline to apply for this appeal, and I promise to ask my peers and student support.
I have taken tutorials from peers on how to excel with online learning and check to see if my email is working since. I hope that I am able to appeal for my Winter term grades in order to save my GPA score and remain in my degree.

I would like to apply for my credits to be pass/fail due to all of the implications that queens closing and the pandemic has had on grades.
