Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Dear officers, I am writing this letter because I want to drop ARTH110, which I took as an elective course in the summer in order to gain more elective credit. However, since the course had started, I was struggling in traveling, internet and time issues. On one hand, I was traveling back and forth in June, including the 14-days self quarantine period after travelling, I was physically unable to attend courses and review for the materials. Moreover, the internet connection was not stable at all here, I had to suffer the pain of slow internet using VPN, sometimes it was hard to refresh or load the next page during quiz or slides, which became a major problem for me. Lastly, I am at a completely different time zone, I understand this is not an excuse but it is hurting for my time management. Therefore I wish to drop the course but I had not noticed that I have missed the drop date, I wanted to try my best to deal with this course but unhappily I cant anymore, please help me to do it, thank you
