Petition Letter: Hello there,
I am writing to request to drop FREN 106 after the academic deadline due to the ongoing extenuating circumstances.
I was confident at the start of the summer to handle the course, but I had a major dental surgery during July which is distracting and makes me too unwell to recover (with swellings going on and on) and can hardly keep up with the course and eventually missed a large part of its contents (Rosetta Stones)and quizzes. I recognize that it's my fault not to organize everything well at the beginning but I do appreciate it a lot if I can be granted a chance to drop this summer course.
I am hoping that by dropping this course I could organize my enrolment schedule better in a manageable way. If I am granted the chance, I would take my time in the upcoming semester after recovering from everything and dedicate to do well in the rest of academic year at Queen's.
