Petition Letter: Hi department of Film and Media, department of Economics,

My name is Ruifan Zhou (20074800) and I only have one major in my degree plan (APEC).

I request for written permission of me studying outside of Queen's during fall semester, I wish to take part of my 4th year of program away on an ILOP. I want to take three courses offered by University in my home country during fall term. Including 6.0 credits of 300 level Film and media elective courses and 3.0 credits of 400 level Economics.

1. I wish to take 300 level Film and media courses away on an ILOP since I want to explore and learn films from different perspectives and professors in my home country. In order to complete my elective courses requirement, I have to take two 300 level film and media courses.

2.I wish to take ECON422 offered by university in my home country. I chose ECON422, but the time schedule of ECON422 offered by Queen's conflict with ECON232 which is used to satisfy my ECON communication plan. Because I have a strong interest in monetary economics, I wish ti study and explore it in university of my home country.

I am hoping that I could obtain written permission from department of Film and Media, and the department of Economics.

I would like to send three syllabuses if you want.
