Petition Letter: Hello,

I have recently transferred to Queen's. As a result of the Covid related protocols in place I am having a difficult time adjusting to the student life here at Queen's. I am working hard to navigate my way through the online learning portal as well as a new set of policies and procedures. selecting and registering in courses was difficult for me this year. I felt as though I was blindly trying to find courses that were available and sounded interesting. I am not having problems selecting or registering for courses that are within my degree plan. Electives are proving more challenging. I initially registered for HIST 206, however, after gaining access to the OnQ page and going through some of the content I realized that I would be unable to manage the workload. I then switched to ECON 212, however, in that case I realized that I needed more help than the distance learning format allows. I am writing to request late registration in EMPR 210. In my previous employment I was a manager of a team of approximately 30 employees. I have some experience which I believe will allow me to catch up and be successful in this course.
