Petition Letter: To Whom It May Concern:
I am a third-year student studying Applied Economics, attempting to do an independent exchange for the upcoming winter term at Corvinus University in Budapest. I have been trying to structure my courses this year to allow me to go on exchange successfully. I reached out to the undergraduate chair for the Economics department, where professor Cromb has informed me I can go ahead with the exchange given the courses that I am currently enrolled in at Queen¿¿s and the courses I plan to take at Corvinus. My course plan to take all my required credits and additional supplemental credits right now during the fall term freeing up the winter term to be just electives and one econ class to take on the exchange (4 electives, 1 APEC option econ course).
Furthermore, I hope that I can receive permission for exchange in a somewhat timely manner as my deadline to apply to Corvinus with an international letter of permission is at the end of October. It would be much appreciated if I could get the approval in time to complete the application process for the exchange.
I understand that due to COVID-19, there is a lot of uncertainty revolving around exchange as I know many people who have had their exchanges canceled. I hope that I can gather all of the information I need for the International Letter of Permission so that if COVID permits an exchange, I will have the option to go.
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Tristan Underwood
